Long Term Planner - 2005 sample (This kind of plan shows the "Concept" that links to all curriculum learning areas for a term. Many schools are now using a large umbrella "Concept" that covers a whole year. The "concept" then needs to be broad - i.e. Community or Change or Life and Living ....). The concept then leads to development of relevant and authentic context and content with the learners.
